Leyte is situated in the Eastern Visayas Region of the Philippines. It is one of the oldest provinces in the country, and is perhaps the most economically developed of the six provinces of the Eastern Visayas region.

The province is a showcase of rich history set in an unspoiled setting. Testaments to this rich heritage, such as vestiges of the Spanish colonial era (early 1500s to late 1800's) still dot the land. Well-preserved homes and buildings dating back to this era line centuries-old streets in most towns.

In 1996, 5 years after our successful entry to the Visayas, via Communities Cebu, Communities Leyte then came next. The desire to provide modern and better community in this countryside location went on as we launched the La Pradera – now with over 100 lived in houses our treat to the people of Ormoc.
